Hello! I’m Annelise. 

I run this site alongside my wonderful husband Jason. We’re an Australian traveling homeschool family with 4 children (10, 8, 5, 2) who started our adventures in 2022. 

Together, Jason and I run a marketing agency. I'm also a Business Coach for those looking to leverage their existing skills to create and grow profitable, freedom based businesses.

I started this site in 2023 to support other travelling, homeschooling / entrepreneur families by sharing what we’re exploring and discovering along our homeschool / world school journey.

Our story

We live on the coast of Victoria, Australia - and have run a digital marketing agency since 2017.

The pandemic opened us up to the possibilities of homeschooling and in 2022 we took the leap. In the process we realised that we could take more advantage of our time and location freedom.

We decided to plan for a year (+) of worldwide travel in 2025 when our youngest would (hopefully) be out of nappies and not need to be carried.

The more sensible one of us (Jason) suggested a trial run to make sure we actually liked travelling long term with kids before we commit to a year. (Our last international trip was a month in Greece with a 2 yr old and a newborn in 2015!)

So in 2024 we're off for 2 months in South East Asia. Eeeeee!!

World School Summit

After too many discussions to count with homeschoolers and non-homeschoolers alike - I realised that so many people are interested in homeschooling, travel with kids, and running a business to fund everything.

Being in the business mentoring space for over 4 years, and running a successful business for over 6, and being new to everything else homeschooling and travel with kids - I decided to deep dive into learning.

What better way than to put on a online event, bringing the experts in each field in, so we can all learn and grow together.

The World School Summit was born! A ten day live virtual event with dozens of speakers.

The WorldSchool Podcast was created to fill a gap I was looking for myself. An Australian connected homeschooling podcast, with a combination of real stories, and practical wisdom, tools and resources to support me on my homeschooling journey.

This is that podcast.

Conversations with homeschool families, travellers, education experts, lifestyle business owners and mentors. For those wanting to homeschool their children, travel and run a profitable freedom filled business.
